We look at your 10 hardest Pro maps. The easiest of those 10 sets your Skill.
Prove your level.
League measures Skill, Experience and Performance. Meet all three requirements to rank up.
Three things define your rank
Every different map completed without checkpoints adds Experience.
Your best Pro times are adjusted for map difficulty and compared against an estimated field of 100 community players. Lower is better.

ExamplesA few simple scenarios
This player is Silver. Their Easy-Medium Skill already meets Gold, but they still need 16 more Pro Runs and must improve Performance from #84 to #80 or better.
This player is Diamond. They already have enough Skill for Master, but still need 20 more Pro Runs and must improve Performance from #36 to #30 or better.
Even with 600 Pro Runs and excellent #8 Performance, this player remains Diamond because Master requires an Extreme Map Tier. The three gates cannot substitute for each other.
Exact calculationFor players who want to know what happens under the hood
Map Tier uses the 10th-hardest Pro mapYour Pro-completed maps are sorted by difficulty from hardest to easiest. The difficulty of position 10 becomes your Map Tier. With fewer than 10 Pro Runs, Map Tier cannot qualify you for Bronze.
10th-hardest Pro completion → Map TierConvert each eligible map placement to Norm PlaceOnly maps with at least 10 valid Pro results count. First scale your placement among finishers to 100, then apply the map difficulty factor q. This estimates your place against the wider community, including players unlikely to finish that difficulty.
map_place = 1 + 99 × (player_place − 1) / (total_places − 1)norm_place = 1 + (map_place − 1) × q[difficulty]Difficulty factors (q)The q factor estimates the share of the community able to finish a Pro run at each difficulty. Values are calibrated estimates, not measured completion rates. The list follows difficulty IDs 1 (Beginner) through 10 (Death).
q[1..10] = [1.00, 0.95, 0.85, 0.70, 0.55, 0.40, 0.28, 0.24, 0.15, 0.08]Performance uses the best 80% medianYou need at least 10 eligible Norm Place results. Sort them from best (lowest) to worst, discard the worst 20%, and take the median of the remaining results. Round the final Performance value to a whole number.
performance = round(median(best_80_percent(norm_places)))Norm Place is a statistical estimate, not an actual race result. The q adjustment reduces the bias caused by tougher maps having fewer, stronger finishers. Only Pro runs count; lower is better.
